Showcasing Industry Operation Features – ELTA Technology Adjusts Listing to "Digital Cloud" from 9/25

September 24, 2023

On 9/22, the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) officially announced that ELTA Technology (8487) will have its listing industry category updated from “Cultural and Creative” to “Digital Cloud,” effective 2023/9/25.

Known for broadcasting major sporting events such as the Olympics and FIFA World Cup, ELTA is virtually synonymous with sports broadcasting in Taiwan and specializes in delivering high-quality digital content—from elite sports to drama and variety programs from Japan, Korea, and Mainland China.

With regulators refining industry classifications, moving ELTA from Cultural and Creative to “Digital Cloud” is both timely and fitting. It better reflects ELTA’s forward path: producing premium video with advanced broadcast technologies such as 4K UHD, VR, AR, and AI, and pursuing the vision of “rooted in MOD, connecting the world with digital video.”

ELTA Sports 1 and 2 will broadcast in 4K UHD for the most vivid, real-time action. Across all channels, up to 2,000 live hours are planned—Taiwan’s widest and most diverse coverage—and the best way to cheer on Team Taiwan.

Through ELTA’s real-time, high-definition, and cutting-edge production, viewers can enjoy Asia’s finest athletes in Hangzhou while showcasing Taiwan’s Digital Cloud capabilities.

With fans eagerly following Taiwan’s athletes, ELTA also anticipates a ratings surge and revenue boost.
