Enhancing Baseball Coverage as ELTA.tv and the Hawks Soar Together
The brand-new CPBL season is about to begin, and ELTA TV announced a multi-year broadcasting partnership with the TSG Hawks. Starting from the 2025 season, ELTA will serve as the Hawks’ official television media partner, responsible for producing and broadcasting all home games. Both sides aim to deliver top-quality baseball coverage and elevate the viewing experience for fans. Beginning April 4, fans can tune in to ELTA.tv and Chunghwa Telecom MOD to experience the excitement of the Hawks’ “Wings Ready to Fly” full home game broadcasts.

Through this new collaboration, ELTA TV continues to strengthen its long-term commitment to baseball broadcasting, both domestically and internationally. This partnership aligns perfectly with the TSG Hawks’ philosophy since their founding—to cultivate the Kaohsiung home base and connect deeply with local fans. By combining their respective strengths, both sides aim to showcase the passion and determination of two young, ambitious teams.
ELTA TV Chairperson Sally Chen stated, “In 2025, ELTA will continue to expand its baseball broadcasting portfolio. In addition to being recognized by Major League Baseball and obtaining the Taiwan broadcasting rights for the World Baseball Classic, our partnership with TSG will reinforce our presence in domestic baseball coverage. We plan to integrate more sports technology into our broadcasts, leveraging our professional production teams to deliver a fresh, immersive viewing experience across television, OTT, and new media platforms.”

Debut Collaboration: Kaohsiung Taiwan-Japan Friendship Series on Feb. 27–28

Ahead of the upcoming CPBL season, the TSG Hawks will host Japan’s Oisix Niigata Swan Kings for a two-game “Kaohsiung Taiwan-Japan Friendship Series” on February 27 and 28—marking the first step of this exciting new partnership. With former NPB and Taiwanese star player Yang Dai-Kang (Daikan Yoh) now a member of the Swan Kings, fans are eager to see this Japanese Eastern League team in action. ELTA TV will provide live on-site coverage, bringing viewers the thrilling “TSG x Daikan” matchup straight from Kaohsiung!
