ELTA Technology (8487-INN) participated in the Taiwan Stock Exchange’s Innovation Board Institutional Investor Conference to present its 2025 first-half business overview. Maintaining its strategy of “strong off-season, booming peak season,” ELTA achieved cumulative revenue of NT$432 million from January to May, marking a 22.38% increase compared to NT$353 million during the same period last year. The surge was driven by strong viewership in sports broadcasting. With exclusive MLB broadcasting rights in Taiwan and a focus on ten major sports events, ELTA achieved record ratings and continues to invest in advanced sports technology broadcasting.

In preparation for the global sports broadcasting boom in 2026, ELTA has already secured exclusive rights for the 2026 World Baseball Classic and announced today that it has also obtained the Taiwan broadcasting rights for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. These three flagship events are expected to generate significant revenue momentum in 2026. Chairperson Sally Chen stated: “Since 2010, ELTA has been deeply connected with football broadcasting, having aired tens of thousands of hours of world-class matches. We have become Taiwan’s leading brand in football coverage. For the upcoming World Cup, ELTA will introduce the best commentary team and integrate entertainment-driven broadcast technology to provide an immersive viewing experience.”

We will uphold our professional and passionate approach to deliver an extraordinary sports festival for Taiwanese viewers. From production to promotion, ELTA will continue its mission to ensure that every highlight of Taiwan’s athletes is seen and celebrated.”
Looking ahead to the second half of 2025 and throughout 2026, ELTA will continue to collaborate closely with its major partner Chunghwa Telecom, deepening its sports broadcasting presence while introducing international tournaments and promoting local grassroots events. With the establishment of the Ministry of Sports, Taiwan’s sports industry is expected to experience exponential growth. AI innovation and sports technology will further enhance the viewing experience, while the use of AI tools will improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. OTT streaming continues its strong upward trend, accelerating digital content consumption.

At the same time, ELTA plans to expand its existing 3-million-follower base into a new e-commerce ecosystem, building a comprehensive model that integrates “content, community, and commerce.” This aligns with ELTA’s long-term “year-round, no off-season” strategy, designed to drive sustainable growth and reinforce its operational model ahead of the 2026 sports broadcasting boom.
