Dear subscribers, regarding ELTA TV’s recent broadcast plans, please find the latest announcement below:

1. Since the establishment of ELTA Sports Channel, ELTA has accumulated over ten years of experience broadcasting the NBA on both IPTV and OTT platforms. The broadcast authorization officially expired after the conclusion of the 2024–25 season.

2. ELTA TV has long regarded the NBA as one of its key broadcast properties, providing subscribers with daily live games throughout each season. Due to significant increases in international licensing fees, securing sports broadcast rights has become increasingly challenging. ELTA TV is currently in commercial negotiations with the NBA for a new broadcast agreement.

During this period, ELTA will continue to engage sincerely with the rights holder, striving to bring thrilling NBA coverage back to its platforms as its top priority.

3. We sincerely thank all subscribers for their continued support and feedback on ELTA’s NBA coverage. Our sports broadcasting lineup remains strong — beginning in November, ELTA will deliver exciting events including the HBL High School Basketball League, BWF World Badminton Tour, WTT Table Tennis Tour, Premier League / Serie A / Bundesliga / UEFA Champions League football, ISU Figure Skating Series, NFL regular season / playoffs / Super Bowl, and more. Additional domestic and international sporting events will also be introduced.

4. Looking ahead to 2026, ELTA plans to provide over 15,000 hours of broadcast coverage throughout the year, including three major global events — the World Baseball Classic (March), the FIFA World Cup (June), and the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games (September) — along with the MLB Major League Baseball season. ELTA has secured the exclusive Taiwan broadcasting rights for all three flagship events and remains the only network in Taiwan to hold such comprehensive coverage rights.
