ELTA Brings the World-Famous Crufts Dog Show to Taiwan Opening a New Era for Pet Sports Broadcasting

ELTA.tv continues to expand its portfolio of world-class sports events and proudly announces the exclusive broadcast of the world-renowned Crufts Dog Show (Crufts 2026). Celebrated as the “Olympics of the Pet World,” this century-old iconic event will take place over four spectacular days from March 5 to March 8, 2026.
With a prestigious history spanning more than 130 years, Crufts brings together the finest dogs and training teams from around the world, standing as the ultimate stage of canine sports and culture. For the first time ever, ELTA will bring this landmark event in its entirety to Taiwanese audiences.
For years, ELTA has been dedicated to sports broadcasting — ensuring that the passion, perseverance, and emotional triumphs of athletes are seen and celebrated. From the Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup to the Asian Games, ELTA has witnessed countless dreams realized through sport.
Now, ELTA extends this spirit to a new breed of athlete — our beloved canine companions who share our lives. In Taiwan, the pet population has surpassed the number of newborns. Pets are no longer just companions; they are family members and vital sources of emotional comfort. By introducing Crufts, ELTA aims not only to showcase a world-class competition, but also to highlight the profound bond of trust and love between humans and dogs — a connection worthy of being seen and celebrated.
March 2026 marks a peak season of global sports. Alongside the World Baseball Classic and the All England Open Badminton Championships, Crufts 2026 completes ELTA’s “Triple Flagship” broadcast lineup, offering audiences a diverse, cross-community viewing experience.
Over four days, Crufts features Breed Judging, Agility, Flyball, Heelwork to Music, and the prestigious Best in Show. The competitions display the ultimate fusion of beauty, speed, precision, teamwork, and artistry — akin to equestrian sports, figure skating, and track events, all performed by four-legged stars.

In addition, during the Lunar New Year holiday, ELTA will present a special retrospective of Crufts highlights from the past decade. Paired with coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics, this forms ELTA’s “Dual-Engine Broadcast Special” for the New Year.
