A Golden Start to the Spring Sports Season! NBA Broadcasts Begin on ELTA from February 14

ELTA TV officially announces that it has secured the NBA broadcasting rights for the 2026–2030 seasons,covering a total of 4.5 seasons. Live coverage will begin from the NBA All-Star Weekend starting February 14 (Saturday, Taiwan time), including the Rising Stars Challenge, the Skills Challenge, Three-Point Contest,and Slam Dunk Contest on Lunar New Year’s Eve (February 15), as well as the NBA All-Star Game on Lunar New Year’s Day (February 16).
From February 20 (Friday), ELTA will fully resume live coverage of the regular season and launch daily live broadcasts during the final days of the Lunar New Year holiday period (see notes). ELTA will accompany fans through the most exciting phase of the season all the way to the end of the playoffs. The world’s top professional basketball league will be delivered across dual platforms — ELTA.tv and Chunghwa Telecom MOD — marking 2026 as a landmark year for major sports broadcasting, and bringing heavyweight premium content to Taiwanese audiences through the summer of 2030.
The New Season Heats Up — Teams Push Full Speed Toward the Playoffs
The NBA season has now entered its most intense phase. Conference standings are tightly contested, star players are hitting peak form, and the race for playoff spots — as well as the championship picture — is becoming increasingly clear.
From blockbuster matchups between top contenders, including conference leaders such as the Pistons and Thunder, to fierce battles among teams fighting for playoff positioning — Celtics, Knicks, Raptors, Spurs, Nuggets, Rockets, Lakers, Warriors, and more — every game carries crucial significance. At the same time, breakout performances from the league’s rising young stars add even more excitement to the season.
ELTA invites fans to return to the familiar rhythm of the game and witness every decisive and thrilling moment of the NBA season’s final stretch.
ELTA’s NBA Broadcast Enters Its 17th Consecutive Year, Rights Secured Through 2030
ELTA TV Chairwoman Ms. Sally Chen stated:

Through stable broadcast operations, carefully curated game selection, and diversified viewing options, we look forward to once again becoming the essential platform for NBA fans in Taiwan.”
In addition, to further expand viewer services, ELTA announced that beginning with the 2026–2027 season, it will broadcast NBA games for four consecutive seasons, covering preseason, regular season, and playoffs (excluding the In-Season Tournament), continuing through the summer of 2030. Together with other top-tier international sports content, ELTA.tv will be developed into a flagship “year-round, four-season” sports platform, ensuring fans always have world-class competitions to enjoy.

1. During the broadcast period of the World Baseball Classic (WBC), selected NBA game days may be temporarily suspended. We appreciate fans’ understanding. Updated schedules will be announced separately.
2. ELTA’s NBA broadcasts will be available exclusively on ELTA.tv and Chunghwa Telecom MOD platforms. NBA content will not be available on Hami Video due to rights restrictions.
3. NBA events acquired by ELTA do not include coverage of the NBA In-Season Tournament.
